getting ready for your interview

getting ready for your interview

August 10th, 2020

Your resume may get you in the door, but the interview is what really can set you apart and land you the job. Luckily, we are experts in getting you prepared and helping you ace your interview.

By conducting mock interviews with you, we can see how you present yourself in interviews and help you practice your answers and how to look more professional. These sessions are often recorded so you can see your improvement and be ready to interview for that new job.

Of course, you need to do your homework before the interview, even a mock interview with our recruiters, to really show you’re interested and know your stuff.

  1. Look up your interviewer. A good place to do this is the company’s website or LinkedIn. At the very least, know their job title and how long they’ve been with the company.
  2. Get to know the organization. Again, the company website is a good source but use Google too. There might be articles about them that have some good information.
  3. Find out if you know someone who works there. Use LinkedIn and your network to find out. They can help give you an idea of the culture of the organization and maybe put in a good word for you.

All of this prep will show your enthusiasm for the job and the company. This goes a long way with hiring managers and can help you stand out.
